Westport in Bloom sign
I’ve never illustrated a municipal sign before so I was pretty excited when the local Westport in Bloom committee approached me to design a sign for their new pollinator garden. I had a lovely time illustrating all the flowers and designing the sign!
There was an unveiling event last week of the garden and the sign. It was so nice to see a large group of townsfolk gathered together in I don’t know how long. It was good for my morale 
Society for the Protection of Birds
lllustration depicting bird saviour Emily Williamson who co-founded the Society for the Protection of Birds in the late 19th century. As a result of her campaigning, the use of exotic bird feathers in hats decreased over time.
